Established in 2021, The Aiden Matthew Ripple Effect Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes youth activism and advocacy surrounding mental health awareness and suicide prevention within their communities.
TAMREF envisions the creation and existence of communities who support the importance of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Communities who are able and willing to have real conversations surrounding these difficult topics and assist in completely eliminating the stigma too often associated with mental health illnesses and suicide.
TAMREF is dedicated to saving lives, promoting awareness, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. TAMREF supports creating a culture of acceptance, empowerment, compassion, and hope for families and communities affected by mental health illnesses and suicide.
Through various fundraising events and opportunities, TAMREF will provide scholarships to students who are advocates and activists within their communities for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. In addition, scholarships will be available to educators interested in attending workshops and conventions with a focus on mental health in schools.
